Newman Motorsports Today
Family Funland remains our title sponsor, along with Norm's wife, Ashley, from Ultra Graphics designing the decals and keeping the cars looking awesome. Norm is joined in the pit by his dad, close friends & Ashley who together all keep race days running smoothly.
We're also excited to have a driver development program where we have an 11 year old that we are training to move up the ranks. Right now he's in his second year of Jr. Late Model at Sauble Speedway where he will be contending for the championship this year.
Our History
Newman Motorsports began long before Norman was born. Norm's dad, Percy Newman, had been involved in racing cars and helping out friends & family at the track throughout his life. He and his wife Marilyn often attended races as spectators in Ontario and the US.
Racing has always been a big part of the Newman household. When Marilyn and Percy started their family, the love of racing was passed on to them. Norm and his 3 siblings raced in go-karts at a young age. Norm and his older brother stuck with racing and dominated the field for many years.

As the years went on, racing was still a big part of their lives. In 1999 the Newman family moved to Kincardine, Ontario and bought a go-kart track called Family Funland, which is still owned by the Newman family.

Racing is our passion, it's not just a sport or something to do on a Friday or Saturday night. The track is home away from home, where we always end up having a great time surrounded by even better people.
